Often, consultants supporting individual needs will be completing student specific assessment and evaluations to inform the development of individualized and function-based programming. Assessments include Functional Behavior Assessments, Functional Analyses, Practical Functional Assessments, VB-MAPPs, AFLSs, EFLs, SSIS, SSIS-SEL, etc. Completion of these assessment allows for the clinician to assist with identification of IEP goals and objectives, as well as appropriate measurement systems to ensure progress.
