Emma Goodlander
BCBA, LABA, Director of Center-Based Services
M.Ed., BCBA, LABA, began working with children with special needs at Wellesley College while volunteering as a Visual Thinking Instructor at local elementary schools. After college, Emma attended Lesley University and earned a Master’s of Education specializing in Moderate Disabilities, Pre-K-8th Grade. She then began working at Beacon ABA Services in Massachusetts as an Associate Behavior Therapist providing home-based ABA services for children ages 2 to 5 years old. Emma gained experience in discrete trial training, incidental teaching, and functional play skills. Emma then moved to New York where she pursued her Board Certification through Northeastern University. While pursuing her certification, Emma developed a passion for treatment integrity, play skills, and activities of daily living (ADLs). Emma joined the Constellations team in January, 2017 as a Registered Behavioral Technician. She transitioned to her position as an Associate Behavioral Consultant in June, 2017. Emma lives in Portsmouth, New Hampshire with her husband and son and enjoys surfing, hiking, skiing, and running.

Brittnay Duguay

BCBA, earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University in 2012 and then her master’s degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis from Antioch University New England in 2016. While earning her master’s degree, Brittnay worked with young children with autism while communicating with schools and homes to encourage and help with the development of socially significant behaviors. In 2016, Brittnay began working closely with individual students with autism and began working closely with BCBA’s to conduct assessments and create programs based on results. In 2017, Brittnay began working at The Birchtree Center for 2 years with children age 3 to 21 providing parent consultations and directly supervising and training staff on applied behavioral analysis. Brittnay joined the Constellations team in 2019 where she became a behavioral consultant and aided in the development and management of program progress. Brittnay has a daughter and step-son and enjoys fitness and health.

M.S., CCC-SLP, earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of New Hampshire. She holds an additional graduate certificate in Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities. Upon completion of her graduate degree in 2013, Cherise had the opportunity to work with children ages 2-18 in both a school and early intervention home based setting. Cherise has experience developing and implementing treatment plans for a range of communication needs including apraxia, alternative and augmentative communication, syntax, semantics, and pragmatics. She has a passion for working collaboratively to support children with complex communication needs.

M.A., BCBA, LABA, earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of New Hampshire in 2010. She went on to work at Providence Service Corporation in Springvale, Maine where she worked in home and community-based services, and also where she first discovered Applied Behavior Analysis. She went on to complete her Master’s degree in Psychology with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. While completing her master’s degree, she worked at Community Partners in Dover, NH with children ranging in age from 2 to 16, varying diagnoses including emotional disturbance and autism, as well as providing parent training. She joined the Constellations team in February 2015 as she finished her Master’s degree. She joined the team at Constellations’ Early intensive Learning Center, where she worked 1:1 with students and gained an interest and a skill set in verbal behavior, discrete trial teaching, data collection and analysis, play-based learning, functional communication, feeding needs, early intervention strategies, and more. In August of 2016, she joined the school-based team, where she continues to provide training to school staff on implementation of ABA principles for skill acquisition and reduction of behaviors that interfere with a student’s ability to learn. In November 2016 she received her BCBA certification and continues to work in both the school and home settings. She looks forward to furthering her development as a behavior analyst with the Constellations team.

Valerie Frey

M.A., BCBA, received her B.S. in Psychology, with a concentration in Race and Gender Studies, from University of Mary Washington in Virginia. Val earned her M.A. in Applied Behavior Analysis and Autism Studies from Ball State University in Indiana and became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in February of 2019. Prior to joining Constellations, she worked as a Residential Director at Childhelp, the Autism Spectrum Disorders Program Supervisor at Kidspeace New England, Behavior Analyst Technician at Providence Service Corporation, Children’s Targeted Case Manager and a BCBA at Special Children’s Friends. While at Special Children’s Friends, a specialized therapeutic preschool in Maine, Val discovered her passion for early intervention services for very young children on the spectrum. Val specifically enjoys teaching the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), writing skill acquisition programs, problem-solving with team members, data, and celebrating every victory, no matter how small.

M.Ed., BCBA, LABA, earned her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and Sociology from Curry College in 2007. While working in ESS, Nicole completed a master’s degree in Special Education at the University of New Hampshire. In 2011, Nicole studied with the Florida Institute of Technology’s Graduate Professional Development program and completed her coursework to become a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst. In 2011, Nicole joined the Constellations team part time as a direct staff providing home-based services. Once becoming Board-Certified in 2013, Nicole joined Constellations full time providing school-based services for students from preschool to 21 years old. In 2016, Nicole joined the Home and Community Branch. In 2017, Nicole transitioned back to her love of Early intervention by providing Center-Based Services in the Early Intensive Learning Center in Portsmouth NH. Nicole moved to the Lead BCBA position in 2019 and then to Director of Center-Based Services as of 2020. Nicole has enjoyed all the diverse ages and environments she has experienced while working at Constellations. Nicole lives in New Hampshire with her husband, two daughters and three dogs.

M.Ed., BCBA, LABA earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Keene State College, where she was first introduced to applied behavior analysis during her practicum with preschool students. After completing her degree, Kate had the amazing opportunity to volunteer for 15 months in Ireland with adults with disabilities. Since then Kate has worked for Nashoba Learning Group as an ABA therapist and joined Constellations in November 2014 as a Registered Behavior Technician in their Portsmouth Center. She graduated with her Master’s in Education with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University in 2018 and joined the school-based team as an ABA instructor in 2017. Kate was promoted last year to an Associate Behavior Consultant and looks forward to further developing her clinical skills and growing as a behavior analyst with Constellations. In her free time, she likes running, kayaking and enjoying the beautiful NH seacoast.

M. Ed., BCBA, LABA, earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2015. She then received her Master of Education in Applied Behavioral Analysis and Autism Spectrum Disorders from Endicott College and became board certified soon after graduating. In her career, Casey has worked with children ranging from 3 through 22 in various settings including the home, public school, private school, and residential setting. She began her ABA career at Melmark New England and then transitioned to Newton Public Schools and Boston Public Schools working as an ABA specialist. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her dog, taking care of all her plants, and being outdoors.

M.Ed., BCBA, LABA earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Colby-Sawyer College. Following college, Alyssa began her career in special education working as an ABA Therapist at Nashoba Learning Group, a center-based school for children with Autism in Massachusetts. Alyssa worked at Nashoba Learning Group for 9 years, working with children ages 8 to 16. During her time at Nashoba Learning Group, she developed an interest and passion for behavior analysis. She enjoyed working children with Autism and helping her students achieve victories in learning. In 2012, Alyssa returned to school where she earned her Master of Education in Autism and Applied Behavioral Analysis from Endicott College. After completing her degree, Alyssa became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. From 2020-2021, Alyssa joined Haverhill Public Schools to experience school-based ABA. In 2021, Alyssa joined the team at Constellations as a Center-Based consultant and looks forwards to further growing as a behavior analyst with Constellations. In her free time, Alyssa loves refinishing old furniture, spending time with friends and family, and catching sunrises at the beach.

M.Ed., BCBA, LABA, earned a Bachelor’s degree in Developmental Psychology and Sociology from Framingham State University in 2011. She then began working at Beacon ABA Services in Massachusetts providing home-based ABA services for children with Autism Diagnoses. She worked as a Behavior Therapist, and later as a BCBA supporting children ages 14 months to 8 years old. Jen acquired skills in the areas of functional behavior assessment, program development, discrete trial and natural environment training, social skills, parent training, and more. While working for Beacon, Jen developed a passion for helping children acquire new skills to become more independent, as well as helping to reduce challenges faced by children and their families. In 2013 Jen decided to pursue her Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis and became Board-Certified soon after. Jen joined the Constellations team in August, 2016 as an Associate Behavioral Consultant. Jen lives in Newburyport, Massachusetts and enjoys going to Bruins games with her friends and family.

M.Ed., BCBA, LABA, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, with a minor in Health Studies, from the College of the Holy Cross. She received her master’s degree in education with a concentration in Behavior Analysis and Autism Studies from Cambridge College. During her time at Holy Cross, Katie wrote a research paper on the lived experiences of parents and caregivers of children with disabilities. Through her undergraduate research, Katie’s passion for helping populations of children with disabilities and their families grew. Prior to joining the Constellations team in 2019, Katie worked with children ages 2 years old- 5 years old providing ABA services in an in-home setting. Her passion for applied behavior analysis began and was furthered during her time working with these families and children. She focused on developing programs to enhance the lives of children on the spectrum. Katie is passionate about helping families and children reach their optimal potential and live happy, healthy lives through behavior analysis. Katie enjoys spending time with her dog named Willa, running, and relaxing on the beach.
