Individual Support

Building Strong Educational and Social Foundations

Individual support typically involves identification of students requiring intensive levels of support and programming in order to effectively participate in their current educational setting. Often, consultants supporting individual needs will be completing student specific assessment and evaluations to inform the development of individualized and function-based programming.

Assessments include Functional Behavior Assessments, Functional Analyses, Practical Functional Assessments, VB-MAPPs, AFLSs, EFLs, SSIS, SSIS-SEL, etc. Completion of these assessment allows for the clinician to assist with identification of IEP goals and objectives, as well as appropriate measurement systems to ensure progress.

CBS also recognizes that many schools have a number of students requiring this level of support and offers ABA Instructor Programs in addition to consultation in situations where significant need may warrant a greater level of support.
